The Easter Bunny Foundation
2010 found The Easter Bunny Hip-hopping in 35 states throughout the USA and throughout the UK, delivering smiles to about 16,000 hospitalized children.
The Easter Bunny Foundation is a Non-Profit organization whose mission is to provide a personal visit and a toy from The Easter Bunny during the week of Easter to children in children's hospitals and pediatric wards across the United States and the United Kingdom; to share with others the excitement and wonderment that only a personal visit with The Easter Bunny can bring; and to deliver a smile to all who we come in contact with.
We would like to thank those people who have helped make The Easter Bunny Foundation a success. In particular, a warm and “hoppy” thanks to the 112 Sheriff’s Offices and 2 County Police Departments that helped to make so many children smile this year. A special thanks also goes out to Sheriff Jerry Demings for visiting the children and for continuing to spread the smiles here in Orlando! Finally, thanks to all of the other generous people who gave their time, effort, and donations this year.
The Easter Bunny hip-hopped his way throughout the United Kingdom once again, where he visited children at Great Ormond Street Hospital and North Middlesex University Hospital, both in London, England, as well as many additional hospitals across the UK which were new to the Bunny Trail. With the help of the Metropolitan Police in the London boroughs and regional Police Services in other parts of England and Wales, The Easter Bunny Foundation has been able to expand across the UK from London to Brighton, Birmingham, Cardiff, Liverpool and Kent.
The Easter Bunny Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to support children’s hospitals across America and throughout the United Kingdom by providing a personal visit and a toy from The Easter Bunny and the local Sheriff during the week of Easter.
